This is a VERY RARE 1954 Gretsch 6021 Town & Country Acoustic in amazing shape from my collection. I really bought this guitar for collectible reasons & therefore it has not been played much. This was one of a couple of Gretsch's top of the line jumbo acoustic guitars produced in the 50's. It sounds & plays amazing with incredible action & feel. The bass jumps out at you & the highs are crystal clear. I have noticed other vintage Gretsch acoustic choices listed on eBay of late, for considerably more money, yet not as nice ...There are some signs of wear in the finish, at the end of the neck on the backside & at the top of the sound hole, clearly visible in the photos, but don't effect playing. NO buckle rash at all & all of the binding & the rest of the guitar is excellent. It measures 1&11/16ths at the nut, the action still has room for adjustment at the bridge. It has been kept in it's original Gretsch tweed hard shell case, that is also in great condition for it's age & has always been stored in my climate controlled area. It has been exceptionally well taken care of & it shows !!! Looks, plays & sounds amazing for a guitar that is over 60, so don't miss this one, as they are nearly impossible to find anymore, in this kind of condition ...
