Very rare ukulele made by Martin made for their big customer Wurlitzer in 1922. Stamped "Wurlitzer" on the back of the headstock and "CF Martin & Co" inside the soundhole. These were only made for four years from 1922-25. This one is based on Martin's mahogany Style 1model and the Wurlitzer catalog calls it model 836. This Wurlitzer should date to 1922 with just the single stamp on the back of the peghead. The later ones had two stamps on the peghead. Original wooden peg tuners. Original canvas carrying case in well used condition plus the vintage ukulele instruction book. Overall condition is very nice with some light wear from use and age. There are a couple short repaired cracks on the back, and one on the top, all done with hot hide glue and very clean. Professionally set up with Martin M600 strings to sound and play great. Don't miss the chance to own such a rare ukulele - I ship worldwide!
