This is a Beautiful kit! The Gold Sparkle is in great condition. The badge serial #s all indicate 1965. Bass Drum Serial Number: 214408Floor Tom Serial Number: 203934High Tom Serial Number: 183970Search "1965 Ludwig Drum set Gold Sparkle" on youtube for a video of actual drums to get a better look at the drums for stuff not all included in the photos.Look to photos and video for best idea of condition.20 x 16 bass drum The drum is in great shape. It has all the hand turn tuning knobs, it has some missing and flaking black paint on the rims. Worst spot is where the kick pedal goes (showed in video)14 x 15 Floor Tom This drum is in great shape as well. Includes the 3 metal legs that clamp into the hardware on the drum. One of the legs is missing its rubber foot. Slight separation at the edge of the shell gold sparkle covering where it over laps and is glued at the end. this would be easy to fix and has caused no damage.9 x 12 High Tom This tom is in good shape! It has a crack in the top head. Also has a fair amount of surface rust on the bottom rim that the other tom does not have (pointed out in the photos)Comes with original flight cases that are totally worn out, they in terrible condition. But they do still serve the original purpose. The leather straps to keep them closed are dry rotted and broken. The bass case has the handle broken off. The floor tom case has a huge dent in it. The drums have been stored in these cases most of their lives and that is why they are still in great shape still i'm sure.Ask any questions before bidding. Buyer pays calculated FedEx shipping.
