This is a beautiful 1974 Les Paul custom , serial number 738436 ,that I bought in Nashville several years back at a vintage guitar shop! She's a 1974 custom shop , black with gold hardware, in good shape for her age, according to the shop it has been checked for all the original pickups which is all in tact, it has the original hard to find brown case with the purple interior , which is a rarity, she plays sweet , looks great sounds great and typically about 11-13 pounds , it has the original finish with no re refret, and the greats are great! It has typical buckle rash on the rear of a player guitar! Tons of warm tone and looks, these investment grade early Les Paul's are getting harder to find especially the customs! I'm retiring and need the space , paid 4000 for this guitar several years ago , my loss will be someone's gain, shipping will be 100.00 no exceptions unless u pick up, I use ups packing and shipping , the will warrant if they pack! On Mar-29-17 at 16:17:36 PDT, seller added the following information:this guitar has the case that came with it from the vintage shop when i bought it ,weather or not thats the original case from the factory I'm not sure,as cases have no serial numbers to determine year, it is a very desirable case either way, i do know that all the pickups are original to the guitar, i hate to break up with this les paul custom, but i have lyme disease and my hands want function properly anymore,so I'm retiring , I've had several people asking me to end the auction early and i won't do that, it speaks for itself and is being sold with no reserve, this great piece of history will all ways be worth the money! hate to sell but someone will be a happy camper on this one, also had people asking about shipping overseas, thats not a problem as long as you pay shipping which will be more than 100 i guarantee , and also once it leaves the states no return due to overseas shipping , good luck all , please ask any questions and i will try to answer
