This is the only one of these you'll ever see on these shores! This is the Axis Sport SSS, made for one year only in 1998 with 3 single coil pickups. This pre-dates the later 'Super Sport' model. There were very few of the SSS models ever made, and Johnny Hiland is well documented as buying up most of them from eBay. This guitar captures Strat and Tele tones all in one guitar. The middle position on the switch is factory wired for bridge/neck combination for perfect Tele tone!This guitar is in collector grade condition, having been lovingly cared for at home only. It is factory spec apart from I've added Schaller pearloid tuner buttons (as per EVH model). The original buttons are included. Comes supplied in original EBMM gig bag (all Sports were!)The frets have been very lightly dressed, hence display zero wear, and fret ends have been beautifully rounded off, so no sharp edges! It feels very like my EBMM EVH guitar to play! There are no dings or marks anywhere on the guitar. Don't let this one slip by you, you may never see another!
