Here's The Run Down: This Rare '70s Sigma Japan DR-8 is in great vintage condition overall and plays/sounds great! Do not confuse this with the DR-7. The DR-7 is laminated not solid and the DR-8 sounds wwwaayyyy better. It is vintage and used, but you can tell it was taken care of over the past 40+ years (please see all pics for its true cosmetic condition). The Solid Spr*uce Top is in very nice shape, very flat, with a flat tight bridge and plenty of saddle for adjustment if ever desired. The back and sides of the guitar are also in very good condition with only some light scratches here and there (see pics). The neck & head stock are in good shape without issue, but do have some minor finish checking and wear on the back of the neck in the cowboy chord area (pictured). The guitar will have marks, scratches and/or light scuffs here and there, but still very respectable. There is an area on the back binding on the lower bout that has somewhat discolored from sitting in its case for a long time, but is of no issue (pictured below so take a look). The original frets show minor no wear and are not in need of attention anytime soon (see pics). There is some scratching and marks on the back as you would expect of a played guitar. The truss rod operates as it should and it plays great up and down the finger board. The original hardware is still in good condition (see pics). This Made In Japan Sigma DR-8 is a great playing and sounding guitar! This guitar is freshly set up and does not need a thing. Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The action is currently 3/32" at the body with loads of saddle and plays incredible from one end of the board to the other. The Included Chip Board Case is also in good shape. It will have marks and flaws from moving it around and age, but still a good usable case. Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above.
