This Iconic Gibson Flying V is an awesome sounding Rock-n-Roll axe with tons of attitude and is a blast to play! This Flying V features Gibson Dirty Finger humbucker pickups that are hot and loud! The neck pickup is warm and full and the bridge pickup is bright and punchy and will make your lead playing stand out in any venue! The neck action is very low allowing for some fast and easy playing. This guitar is surprisingly light for one that appears so large, so there's no problem playing this one all night. This guitar is 33 years old and does show its age. The deep red finish is still quite glossy, however the lacquer is checking in places. There is no cracking to the wood, just the finish. There are many nicks and scratches the largest of which are four dings on the edge of the body near the controls. All of this can be seen clearly in the photos. None of the flaws affect the playability of this great axe.All the controls work fine with no unwanted noise. It is strung with a new set of Ernie Ball "Skinny Top Heavy Bottom" strings. This guitar is all original and features: • Dirty Finger humbucker pickups • 3 way pickup selector • Tune-o-matic bridge with a stop tail piece • Set neck • Rosewood Fingerboard • 2 volumes and one tone control The original Gibson hard shell case is included and is in good shape with minor wear to the tolex covering. As this is a used instrument it is sold as is with no warranty. Local pickup is available. Thanks for looking!
