Firstly ,This Guitar although original , has problems . It is unplayable near the neck joint , whoever tried to fix it must've put a clamp too tightly on the neck joint area and messed it up. It's beyond my ability to fix so I'm cutting it loose . That said , good points - it's an original 1963 ( going by serial ) and not a bad looking unit . Has a new Bone nut, and clear tone 10s , easy to play and sounds great acoustically . So , here's a beautiful 60's Epi that has major neck problems - you can fix it or just play it and not go too high on the fretboard. I don't know if the pickup is original or the electronics , I plugged it into a small Marshall combo amp and it works . Since this is a unit that needs work , I have tried to put what I think is a fair starting price . Obviously if it was in better condition it would bring a much higher price. A Luthier suggested removing the fretboard and planing the neck , beyond my ability and pocketbook - if it could be fixed it would be a classic ! If I know my Epiphone history correctly , this body style has roots in the original New York Epiphone company , though from the label , it's a Kalamazoo made unit from the old Michigan Gibson plant . Please only bid understanding this one needs help and repair.
