Description

Rare 1991 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, Hall of Fame Edition, finished in genuine gold bullion front, back and sides. It was one of the Gibson Custom Shops first run of Custom guitars; according to Gibson, the production run was kept to 250 guitars, making this a collectors item which only increase in value over time. Examples that Ihave seen are selling in the $3000+ range. Besides all of that, this guitar is a incredible player, a tone machine loaded with screaming hot Duncan P-90s; neck fast and comfortable. Weighs 10 lbs Want to hear it? (Not mine, but you'll get the idea of what this puppy can do) https://youtu.be/LweTNzLv7YY This guitar has been played and toured; the wear and tear shows- this is no bs "relic" nonsense. This is real- the gold bullion near the the bridge p/u is beginning to tarnish green; some nitro checking; binding shows some wear. But none of this affects the build or integrity of the guitar. Strap it on and you can feel Les Paul history pulsing through your hands until the gig is done. Check out the photos, and if in NYC, feel free to come by and crank it up through a variety of new and vintage amps...you do not want to miss this. If I did not seriously need money, this guitar would never leave me. But life happens, and I only hope it goes to someone who understands what a Les Paul, made on that special day by those special builderse is capable of: this guitar is all you will ever need.
