This is my 1979 Fender Strat in sunburst. Selling to make way for new guitars so it needs a new home.The guitar is a players guitar so not a collection piece. No artificial relicing here. It's all hard earned!I'll try to detail as much as I can about the condition here:Ash body, sunburst finishMaple neck and board.Frets are low, but smooth and playable.The neck has the rarer narrow nut width so is a thinner feeling neck.There is Playing wear on the fretboard and neck.Finish checking in neck and body with various nicks and marks from playing. Topcoat colour worn away on the arm contour. Looks very cool!Pots date to 1979 as does headstock serial and the neck was manufactured in 78. Has the 70s three bolt neck joint which is stable.Non original parts are the bridge and the pickups. These appear to be early 80s Japanese pickups. They are excellent with a powerful punchy sound.Comes with a good quality non original foam hard case.All in all a good player's 70s Strat.I'm starting the auction low and hopefully you'll bag a bargain, but if you can't wait, you can buy it now. I've set the buy it now at a pretty competitive price which takes into account the non original parts and condition.
