This Conn 26K EEb Sousaphone was made in 1937. It is in great condition having been stored in a hardcase between gigs. It is satin silver-plated with true gold plating inside the bell. This is a great horn for a treble brass player who wants to read the scores without transposing. (I.e. a trumpet part is written with the Bb at the first line below the staff. Tuba parts are written with the Eb shown at the first line below the bass clef staff. The fingering sequence is the same for all brass instruments, therefore reading the bass tuba parts with this horn is very easy.)This comes with a mouthpiece (Conn Hellobore or Dennis Wick...your choice). Keys work perfectly and slides pull easily. Very few minor dents, so horn could be easily be restored to original condition by a local instrument repair shop.  The original hardcase is not in great shape, but serviceable.  The seller has owned and played the horn for 15 years, who purchased it from the original owner.  I continue to play, but no longer want to march.
