This is a 2000 Gibson Les Paul 58 Reissue Blacktop. Only 75 R8's were made in the year 2000, and all were Blacktops for Sam Ash Music. This one is number 15 of 75. The weight of the guitar is 8.75 lbs, which is quite light for a non chambered Les Paul. Guitar is in great shape for 17 years old. Has a few dings here and there, but nothing serious. Has about 80% fret life, and plays like butter. Very punchy. All original except for schaller strap lock buttons, 60's reflector knobs, and the pickups were replaced with a set of incredible sounding Gibson Clapton reissue PAF's. This guitar is very rare. Most blacktops are always a 57 reissue. Please message for any questions. Shipping is fully insured via UPS and is free to anywhere in the continental US or Canada. Please be aware this guitar is in Canada, but it is my understanding that because this was made in the US that no import duties or fees will be required by the buyer. This guitar has been relisted as the previous interested party changed their mind.
