Hand signed by both “The King” Richard Petty himself and the first and only NASCAR licensed artist Sam Bass, creator of the legendary depiction of the 7 time NASCAR champion! Richard Petty's success as a NASCAR driver is so profound and influential, Disney Pixar used him as the inspiration behind the unbeatable champion in their hit movie Cars! Upon the Creation of these 43 master crafted guitars, #1 and 2 went directly to Richard Petty, while several went directly to artist Sam Bass, of which this was one of them! Please see pictures as proof! The original shipping box is included and is clearly labeled as being #9 and addressed to Sam Bass himself! Not that it is officially specified, but many find numbered collector items to be more desirable the closer they are to being the first available and this one is very close to being #1 as well as being previously owned by one of its co-creators!
