For your consideration is an all-original 1979 Fender Precision P-bass, in beautiful and rare wine red finish over an ash body, in very good 8/10 condition, with an included Road Runner hardshell case.This bass shows some playwear upon close inspection, including scuffs, scratches, indentations and chips (please see pics above in Ebay hosted, and below this description), and we’d rate it a conservative 8/10 condition.Weight is 9 lbs 10 oz.The translucent finish is stunning over the ash body. You can see the wood through the finish beautifully. You just don’t see finishes this well done anymore on these basses.Playability is fast and low up and down the neck. This one plays easy like a good vintage P bass should! This is a killer gigging guitar!The tone is incredible. With the aged ash and nitro finish this bass breathes beautifully.The bass cuts through nicely and sounds so punchy, but still remains fat and full sounding, and has a richness and warmth to the tone that is tough to find.If you’ve always wanted a sweet vintage P bass but didn’t want to break the bank this may be the one.We feel we have represented any flaws with pictures and description but please call/text for an in-hand description(530-521-9280) and ask any questions or send a message with your questions or for higher res pics.Shipping will be $50 via FedEx Ground or Home Delivery, fully insured and packed with extreme care, with Indirect Signature unless otherwise requested, in the continental US.
