1992 Gibson Les Paul Custom 1954 Pre Historic Wonderful 90's Tonemachine This is a very early reissue of the 1954 Les Paul Custom. Great woods and built quality in the rely 90's Pre Historics as they are called. This one has the real vintage mojo after its 25 year old life, the aged yellow binding, the playwear, the woods have aged and opened up the tone very nice. This guitar rings and sings in your hands. The P90 crunchy rock n roll sound and warm bluesy sound is pretty sweet. Also jazz is possible with this guitar. Solid body, 24 ¾-inch scale length neck is mahogany neck and then topped by a 22-fret Ebony fingerboard outfitted with pearl block inlays and given Gibson’s traditional slim to medium profile. Other appointments include Gibson’s legendary Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, Grover tuners, multi-ply white and black binding on both the top and back, gold hardware and a 1 11/16” nut width.
