Listing for sale vintage Martin Committee Bb trumpet horn of the Jazz greats. This is the horn from the very end of what's considered best era very late 1950s serial range #209xxx and it is most popular medium bore perfect for intimate jazz setting / venue . You have a chance to get a very good playing horn and slightly younger than Martins from the 1940s. This horn had very few leftovers of original lacquer which was just stripped and it is now darkened raw brass. Whole horn was just internally and externally cleaned and leftover lacquer came out during this process. This horn was never buffed and retains original thickness of the brass and all bell letters and serial numbers are fully and crisp visible and readable. Horn has all new felts , corks and springs. Valves Pistons were not over cleaned with heavy acids so there are still few darker spots and minor spots of wear from age as my repairman wanted these to move smoothly after cleaning process. Compression is full and these move smooth. This horn has a great vintage appearance. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS. There are no dings or dents and horn is straight ready to play straight ahead / cool jazz. Take it with you to your next gig or jam and show off with your vintage Committee . This horn is a head turner !
