60's K300 Project Guitar Listed as a project for the following reasons. 1. One cable has come unsoldered and needs to connected. All pickups and volume and tone pots work when cable is held in place. I don't have a solder gun or else I would fix it. 2. The selector knob is missing and the switch it's self doesn't work. 3. Even though they all function with the exception of the selector...the pots are rusted and can't be read to give an exact date. All are original and the capacitors are still intact but they are UGLY!! see pics. 4. The original nut is broken on the E string side. It plays in it's current condition but heavy strumming will cause it to pop out...see pics.  5. The original pickguard was removed, the current was painted gold (looks like a 58 P-Bass gold anodized guard) along with the brass bridge cover and DeArmond Speed Bump pickup covers. Also the original truss rod cover was removed and the current was added and painted to match the guard and hardware. Actually looks very cool and vintage. The top is not plain and and in the right light some KILLER small "wormy" flames and figured grain really come to life. Also the gold/brass Kluson Deluxe keys are tarnished quite a bit but still look vibey and work great. No case but will be packed good. If this rare little jewel doesn't move this go around I plan on parting it out. Make an offer and keep this piece together...thanks for looking.
