To celebrate Fender's 60th anniversary, a special run of American Standard Series instruments were offered in 2006. All sported a special case, Vintage Reissue pickups and a 60th Anniversary jewel on the back of the headstock. Only offered for one year, these instruments offered players good quality, great feel and excellent features. The comfort contoured body of this Strat is alder for great tone and feel. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A trio of US Vintage Reissue single coils dish out classic tone. A vintage style trem and sealed tuners complete the package. A great guitar with killer looks!Like most American Series instruments, this Strat sounds great and plays well. The neck is straight and the frets are good. The pickups sound good and the electronics work fine. This is a nice used instrument. A good looking guitar. Comes in original case which shows some scuffs.These guitars were available for one year and are relatively hard to find on the used market. A great USA made Strat with some excellent features. Here's your chance to grab one.Custom chrome pickguard with DiMarzio SDS pups, preamp loop plus a separate OBEL, master volume and master tone, and 5-way pup switch. Comes with preamp (w belt chip) and connector cable. Brass nut for amazing sustain. Also providing original pickguard with 57/62' pups. No wood has been cut or modified, can be restored to original condition (original jack not provided). Guitar is in great shape and has taken on a beautiful vanilla patina.
