Perfect opportunity for a project or self-build project with this vintage and rare genuine USA made Fender Stratocaster body and neck from 1978. Body is the usual medium to heavy weight and made from ash and the color is Olympic white that has now turned into a lovely vintage cream with age (It is after all, 39 years old.) Obviously it's been routed for humbuckers at some point in its life and it has a few dings and dents that are commensurate with a life of gigs.The neck is in very good condition and is straight and has very little in the way of fretwear while the original rosewood neck is in wonderful condition. These original Fender guitars seem to be gaining value year after year so this maybe a great way to get into the vintage secondary market while you still can and this one has really resonant woods that really deliver that classic Fender tone so beloved of generations of guitarists.
