DescriptionI'm selling my C F Martine Ukulele that I have owned for 68 years.
My father purchased this Ukulele for me used when I was 12 years old. I am now 80.
Because it was purchased used in 1949 I don't know what year it was made. There is a crack on the top that has been professionally repaired.
There are minor nicks and scratches.
The headstock has some kind of an inlay that is missing part of it. It was like that when my father gave it to me. I have never seen another Martin Ukulele with this one.
On the back of the headstock at the edge is a number 1. I have no idea what that's for.
The end has a brass fitting for a shoulder strap that my father made on his lathe. As you can see by the pictures the canvas carrying case is well used with my name written on it. I didn't want it stolen.
The repair shop that repaired the crack said it was worth about $800 so I figure it must be worth more then that.
