This is a great deal! This is a MIM 70s reissue Fender Jazz Bass. It is in GREAT shape with only one little dent. I love this bass, but my wife thinks I have too many. Here's why I love this bass: The 1970s saw the Jazz Bass bridge pickup moved closer to the bridge, creating a brighter, more cutting tone, and the elegant addition of neck binding and block fingerboard inlays. This instrument features classic vintage styling that evokes and honors the timeless Fender basses that came before it in the 1950s, '60s and '70s. From the rear strap button to the top of the headstock, it’s the very essence of classic vintage Fender bass design. The elegant high-end look of a bound fingerboard with block inlays first appeared on Fender basses in 1966 and is considered a classic Fender design element, especially on 1970s-era Jazz basses. That stylish look is re-created here in authentically vintage detail.Features:Rosewood neck and "bullet" truss rod system7.25"-radius bound rosewood fingerboard with 20 vintage-style frets and pearloid block inlaysPearl Pick guardThis bass sounds big and punchy because it has had the original pickups professionally replaced with DiMarzio DP 123 pickups. The pickup cavity also had copper shielding installed making this a really quiet bass. And to make it an even better deal, I'll include: the original pickups, original pick guard, 2 Fender Shirts (L), New Fender Ball Cap, New Monster cable, strap w/ strap locks and a gig bag.
