For sale is a 2002 Ibanez RG2120K-KB guitar. This is a special production guitar made by the J Custom shop and sold in Japan only.
Most estimates are that production was 15-20 of these guitars. The photo of the back of the headstock shows the standard FujiGen
serial number as well as the J Custom shop stamped serial. Unlike the more recent RG652 "koa brown" guitars which use Australian
Blackwood veneers, this guitar features actual Hawaiian Koa. The guitar features a solid mahogany body with koa top veneer, Ultra
neck with rosewood board, offset abalone dot markers and koa headstock veneers, Lo Pro Edge bridge, DiMarzio Tone Zone and
Air Norton pickups and Gotoh Free Lock strap locks, normally only found on J Customs. The guitar is in excellent overall condition with no chips or body damage of any kind. Cosmo hardware is nearly flawless, with only
slight tarnish on top of the tone knob. Fretwear is minimal. Pickup pole pieces have slight corrosion but the electronics all work
perfectly. Included is a the original M150C case as well as all original manuals (in Japanese), hang tags, inspection certificates and
strap lock parts.Shipping is by FedEx Ground, fully insured and signature required. Due to concerns about the recent changes to the CITES rules
regarding rosewood, I can only ship this guitar within the US.Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
