A true rarity is a factory matched pair of original vintage Gibson PAF's. What makes this a rare opportunity is that both PAF's have never had their covers removed, still set in their original factory M69 Hughes Industries pickup rings and hardware. These are factory nickle covers. THI IS THE ONLY SET CURRENTLY AVAILABLE THAT HAVE NOT HAD THE COVERS REMOVED AND ARE VERIFIABLE. This factory assembled PAF harness is from a 1962 Barney Kessel Regular. It comes with a factory matched pair of NICKLE covered PAF's which read 7.74 K ohms and 7.54 K ohms, (when read through the attached input jack). The pots are 500K ohms and are stamped 6109 date. This dates to February 1961. All pots have been cleaned and lubed and operate smoothly and easily. This was accomplished Without having to open the cans. These have not seen a soldering iron since they left the factory as the harness is complete with hardware, M-69 Hughes Industries PAF surrounds, switch tip and (3) knobs. This is the Jazz set with narrow spaced neck pickup. Typically they are out of phase, but as I have never checked they may be in phase. The PAF stickers are in good shape, not perfect but very nice.
