Hi Folks.....Here we have a near new "All original" Epiphone / Gibson ES 135 Custom Shop Model.Some light scratches from cleaning..This is a rare model anyway' but the Custom Shop version is even harder to find...The Custom shop model has many better features. It features a one piece maple neck with outstanding Rosewood fret board along with high quality frets' and are levelled beautifully. It feels like a USA made neck Medium 'C' shape .It has 24.75" scale length.Quality smooth Grover tuners...Quality bridge (Better than the standard Epiphone tuneomatic bridges) It also features PAF 57's pickups.They are Epiphone pickups, but the spec's say USA but thats not marked anywhere on the pickups... The Specs for this model say it has a Chromyte centre block but looks like and feels like Alder. My Gibson ES 135 had a Chromyte (Balsawood block), the Gibson ES 137 has a solid Alder centre block...this ES 135 has the same specs as a Gbson ES 137 solid Alder centre block for feedback supression. It plays fantastically and comes with the original FAUX Alligator skin case in very good condition. These are as good as the Gibson USA made ES 135...I have had both.Set up with low action and new D'Adarrio 11s. If you can use bid! Free Postage Australia wide and $250.00 World wide.
