1993 FENDER USA CUSTOM SHOP STRATOCASTER NECK, FLAME MAPLE/ROSEWOOD WITH TUNERS!

EASTER SALE &FREE USA SHIPPING! This is a great example of an early USA Custom Shop Stratocaster neck. It's probably a 1962 model with spaghetti logo and slab rosewood fretboard. It's got a few marks on the edges of the headstock and faint hints of player wear. The original frets are in near-perfect condition. The truss rod works perfectly and the nitro finish is original. The coolest thing about the neck is its beautiful flame maple. This is really a choice piece and worthy of the USA Custom Shop designation. It has the USA Custom Shop decal on the headstock and stamped on the heel of the neck as well (both are under the lacquer as they should be). It's also hand-dated 12/4/93 and stamped with 'H GASTELUM' who was also a Master Builder for Fender at that time. The neck radius is 9 1/2" near the nut graduating to 12" near the neck heel. The medium-jumbo frets are .105" wide and about .040" high and have a rounded profile. They show no evidence of wear and have never been filed or dressed. The fret edges are perfect with no shrinkage or sharp edges. It has the original nut and includes the Kluson-style tuners. There are some marks & minor scratches on the rosewood fingerboard from storage and handling but nothing to detract from playing and certainly nothing you can feel. You see quite a few newer surplus Custom Shop necks on the market but these early 90's ones are truly special. It has the full "USA Custom Shop" logo in two places and is hand-dated with the old-style date stamp (all under the lacquer).
