2012 Fender®/Musikraft® American Vintage® '64 Telecaster® ❘ ☛Maple Cap ('Thin C-Shape Profile Neck')☚ ❘
☞ '59-'64 Pickguard + Orig. 1960's Case Candy ☜I am separating from my customized Fender® American Vintage® '64 Telecaster® (built 2012) in See-Through Blonde at a fair price. Since Maple Cap necks were previously only available in the Fender® Custom Shop®, I decided to get in contact with Musikraft® (USA). So I could have a neck made according to my wishes and needs. I am very impressed with the work and the accuracy (eg sharp headstock edges like original Tele's of the pre-CBS era). The body, including hardware and electronics, is 'all-stock' like the purchase, except for the dashboard: the three-layer (white / black / white) was replaced by a single-layer 8-hole WD®. The neck plate has a personalized serial number (L3xxxx). The Fender / Kluson® single-line tuners have been adapted to the original neck m. Palisander fingerboard removed. The corpus has several slight varnish plaques, otherwise the condition is optimal and with naturally aged patina. The fingerboard has minimal traces of paint loss (this thin laquer by Total guitar in Zurich ensures an authentic abrasion). For technical data about guitar and neck see below. A very nice and rare version of the A.V. '64 Tele. The Gray-Bottom Singlecoils give this Tele® this unique, snarling Maple Cap sound ...warm and with lots of volume. Comes with ashtray bridge cover, gray re-issue cable, cleaning cloth and accessories in company catalog: Manual HangTag, Wiring diagram with associated Allen key and condenser for conversion. In addition to the guitar, vintage case candy comes as a 50's / 60's Bobby Lee "Western Git-R Strap" leather belt, Hootenanny fabric belt from Japan and two rare Switchcraft spiral cables, all from the 1960s.
