Vintage Vega Little Wonder tenor banjo. As near as I can recall from family lore, this banjo was purchased by my Father in the 1940s. It is a wonderful sounding instrument. Shows signs of wear (as described above) one would expect from an instrument of this vintage. Along with the Vega stamp there is a "John B. Rogers, Jr." signature in resonator. Functional vintage hard shell case with purple velvet/felt lining. All fasteners work. Case is worn and scuffed its handle replaced with wound rope handle. Case needs TLC. Includes original capo, set of tools, wrenches for tuning, etc. Photos are an accurate representation of it's condition. This banjo may be 80-90 years old and as such its condition is indicative of that age. A collector's item which to this day sounds fantastic when played. Again, this is a nice sounding, but very old banjo. Sold as is.
