A bit special this one being number 60 of only 64 made in a pre production run. Definitely one for the collectors. The original Airline guitars were made in the USA from 1958 to 1968 by Valco and distributed through Montgomery Ward. They were re-issued by a Canadian Company called Eastwood in the mid ‘naughties’ and this actual guitar has been authenticated by Eastwood as being one of only 64 made in 2004 to determine market demand before they went in to mass production, making it a collectible piece. It is in as new/un-played condition with an extreme retro space age appeal ….. just like the Jedsons, Famous Airline DLX users include Jack White of the White Stripes, and more iconically, David Bowie whilst in Ziggy Stardust mode.
