Here is an extremely clean Alesis HD24XR 24 track recorder. This is the high end model with the higher resolution A/D convertors. Lots of info on the web about these machines. I assume you know what this is if you are looking at this page. This one comes complete with a Fireport 1394 unit with all the Fireport accessories that came with it new. The fireport can be used to transfer digital audio files to a computer for other purposes such as editing and mixing with a DAW etc. It also comes with one hard drive caddy and one Seagate Barracuda 7200 rpm 120 GB hard drive to get you recording quickly. In addition it includes the original remote control. I was told by the previous owner (church music director) that this machine was purchased new by their church and only used a couple of times then it basically sat unused in its rack. It looks unused in my opinion---check the pictures. There are a couple of light scratches on the top from when it was put into or removed from the rack but the light has to be a certain way to even see them. I would have to say this is as close to new condition as you're likely to get. If you simply want to record multiple audio tracks of high resolution digital audio and not have to hassle w a computer then these machines are a great way to go. Great for remote concert recording, studio or church etc. I am sure you can download a PDF owners manual. It is not an interface, it is a recorder so it will need to be either patched into a mixer or mic preamp etc. and or once recorded the files can be loaded from its hard drive into a computer for mixing editing etc. Please look it up online if you are unfamiliar with how this machine works. You probably know that already but thought I'd better throw that in. Unit sold as is, but check my feedback and bid with confidence---this thing is mint.
