Hi, For sale is this Covered Bridge Master Grade Myrtle and sinker Douglas fir Tenor with Western Maple binding and a Myrtle rosette, Ebony fret board and bridge. Mahogany neck gold mother of pearl offset fret markers, bone nut and saddle with Peg Hed tuners. Strung with Worth strings. This is a really classy looking uke, with a nice thick ebony heel cap, great curl on the binding and the myrtle back and sides, ebony bridge with drop in stringing, and a nice dark shading on the center top, due to the Sinker Douglas Fir. The uke is in near mint condition with no cracks, dings, dents or scratches anywhere to be seen.I've had the pleasure of owning two Covered Bridge ukes, and both of them are excellent instruments. Covered Bridge is run by two brothers out of Oregon, as they say, "Ukuleles handcrafted one at a time in Oregon by Perry and Terry Bullinger." Check out their face book page for some lovely pics of some of their other ukes. The sound is really sweet with the high g, but the body is about 3/4 inches deeper than any of my other Tenors, so I'm thinking it would have a nicely accentuated low end if strung with a low G. Its got good action, and the peg hed tuners give you the low profile look of friction tuners with the precision of geared tuners, and helps to emphasize the covered bridge silhouette of the head stock.Comes with a hard shell case. I hate to let this go, but I have to clear some room!Thanks for looking!
