These are a true classic and are getting harder to find everyday!This one is PRICED TO SELL - and is a Killer Deal on a now classic model!We absolutely LOVE these original EVH guitars and every time we get one in the shop we're transported back to 1991 - the release of "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" and the "Poundcake" video playing on repeat on MTV. Everyone who was anyone was playing one of these models and Eddie was known for gifting them to fellow musicians such as Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains! This particular guitar was played quite a bit, but has lots of miles left on her.It has all the vibe of a guitar that has seen the stage, seen some tours, been through some battles and lived to tell the story. Ever see the guitars Eddie plays on stage?They're beat! This one is has that aura to it!This example has a stunning faded purple Quilted maple top.Eddie LOVED the quilted tops, far more than the flame tops.These are not only more rare but also more collectable. These are absolutely amazing instruments. Hands down better than the later Peavey Wolfgang counterparts.... Ernie Ball made these in small batches and there was impeccable attention to detail with these guitars.These finishes were susceptible to fading, and this one has washed out to a very interesting color, where the natural finish is showing through the purple and blending to a stunning light violet color. Great player with plenty of battle scars, and is priced accordingly!This baby is a rock-n-roll flamethrower!Recently setupIncredibly well playing guitar with a nice straight neckStunning Quilted maple top Killer sounding EVH custom humbuckersTuners changed from pearl tip schallers to more durable metal tip schallers Original musicman tremolo has been swapped out for a Floyd Rose - works great!Nice molded non-original case
