Completely unplayed. 2014 Alembic Darling. Many upgrades were chosen to make this guitar the best guitar it could be. Woods carefully chosen are AAAA quilted maple top, purple heart and mahogany throughout body and neck, Macassar ebony fretboard and macassar ebony and purple heart upgrade thru the neck. It was specced specifically to facilitate in best capturing the upper harmonic registers as well as terrific sustain. One may get lost in quilt ocean looking at the unbelievable top but green LED lights keep you from getting lost on stage. All aforementioned are upcharges. Active humbucker plus single coil variant along w/ the ingenious tried and true patented Alembic filter system controls which further lend to its versatility. Ultra light weight at just around seven and a half lbs. Sounds unbeatably great clean as well as when distortion is desired. Superbly crafted and plays like a dream! As quality an instrument as can be made. This guitar turned out well enough that Alembic featured it in their advert in Vintage Guitar magazine Johnny Winter cover issue. Original hard shell case and COA included. If you have been considering an Alembic, something unique, or treating yourself to a high end guitar, you will not be disappointed.
