The Alesis DM10 Pro Electronic Drum Set is the product of Alesis 20 years of experience in electronic percussion. With ErgoRack mounting, premium SURGE cymbals, RealHead pads, and the DM10 module this electronic drum set is prepared for all facets of practice and performance. Drum Pads The 8 and 10 Alesis RealHead drum pads are acoustic feeling and accessible to the traditional drummer. With mylar drumheads and triple-flanged counterhoops, these pads contribute to a natural, real sound. Dual-zone snare and tom pads allow for rim shots and rim clicks just like acoustic drum sets.SURGE Cymbals The premium SURGE cymbals on the Alesis DM10 Pro Electronic Drum Set are formed from a true cymbal alloy that is coated with a sound dampening layer. Because of this, they play and sound like real cymbals. In this set, a 12 hi-hat, 13 crash with choke, and 16 triple-zone ride with choke are included. ErgoRack The ErgoRack is ergonomically curved with the optimal positioning for player comfort and playability. This heavy-duty, heavy-gauge 1-1/2 tubing can accommodate additional drums and cymbals. Wing-screws on all important rack clamps permit easy, immediate adjustments without reliance on a drum key. This chrome-plated rack is both durable and easy to transport.DM10 Module Unlike other systems, the DM10 builds its sounds from samples of real drums, cymbals, and other percussion instruments. It incorporates legendary drum bands in its library and has a variety of cymbals that include traditional Chinese or Turkish cymbals. With the Alesis exclusive Dynamic Articulation, the timbre and tone of the sound is influenced by how hard the drum is played. On other electronic drum sets, only the volume is affected by the power behind the drum stick. Use the DM10 module to play with or without reverb or mix in a MP3 player.
