You are bidding on a 1993 U.S.A. Fender Strat Plus. The color is Caribbean mist - a rare color which was only used by Fender in 1993 and 1994. This guitar is 100% original and is in great condition. Some of the features of this guitar include: Schaller locking tuners, LSR roller nut (1993 being the year that Fender switched from the Wilkinson roller nut to the LSR) and gold Lace Sensor pickups.The guitar has been maintained in a non-smoking environment for its entire life.The condition of the various guitar components are as follows:Body: Near mint condition. There are no scratches, dents, dings, finish checks or any other flaws on the body. A 24-year old guitar body in this condition is EXTREMELY rare.Pickguard: Has light pick scratches.Tuners: Smooth action and fully functional.Setup: Medium low action for easy playability and no fret buzz.Truss Rod: Fully functional.Neck: Straight and true. Several small/insignificant mars on back of neck - too small to photograph. Headstock: There are two small nicks that are fully disclosed in picture #7 in the gallery.Frets: There is some fret wear as illustrated in picture #8 in the gallery. The wear is considered light for an instrument 24 years old. There are many years of life left in the existing frets. The second arrow in the picture depicts a minor finish imperfection. This can be easily repaired by sanding and refinishing, should the buyer so desire.Case: Included is an SKB hard-shell case specifically made for a Fender Stratocaster. All of the working parts (handle, latches) are in good condition and fully functional. There are no cuts or tears in the interior material.
