Here is a very nice '69 Reissue U Serial MIJ (2010-2011) Fender Mustang in factory Old Candy Apple Red with matching headstock. This one is a killer 'stang. Like all MIJ Mustangs it's true to the vintage Fender spec, with the '69 contoured body, 3-ply pickguard and Fender stamped neck plate. Much darker than regular Candy Apple Red it plays like a dream and looks great. A nicely grained slab of rosewood for the fingerboard and some pretty grain patterns on the tinted amber maple neck and back of headstock (see pics). She has no mods, breaks or repairs. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically perfect. She's clearly been loved and looked and I can’t see any marks to the body at all. There is a tiny paint body chip near the neck pocket as is common with poly-finished Fenders. Complete with trem arm. A very nice vintage specification Mustang in a very cool colour. No more Mustangs are being built by Fender in Japan since production was moved to Mexico to cut costs. So snap up these beautiful crafted guitars while you still can. No gig-bag but she will come professionally packaged in a heavy-duty padded purpose designed shipping box so absolutely no harm will come to this guitar during shipping.
