Up for auction is an extremely rare 1992 vintage Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus Translucent Purple featuring a killer AAA flame maple top!
Comes in the original 'Gibson USA' brown case.This guitar was one of only 100 made in this color, and is very hard to find in this awesome condition, so Don't miss out!These early Les Paul Classics are built to Pre-Historic standards - they have thin binding at the cutaway, ABR-1 bridge, non-greened inlays and higher quality woods. Features highly desired "Les Paul Model" on the headstock veneer vs "Les Paul Classic" in later years. 100% original with every solder joint untouched, 1992 dated pots, ceramic black bobbin 496R/500T pickups.This guitar is in FANTASTIC cosmetic condition ~~ as close to MINT as it gets!
Showing only some age patina on the hardware giving it a killer vintage look.
Neck is straight and has the slim 60s tapered profile which feels like it plays itself. Set up for a smooth ride. The original fret still have most of their life left. SWEET action and AMAZING playability! The case is in excellent shape as well.This guitar plays and sounds superb! The ceramic pickups are hot enough to get that great 60s and 70s rock tone, yet gentle enough to back off and get some beautiful high end sparkle.
