The Schecter Mercury strat is a rare find that is gobbled up by collectors. The Schecter Van Nuys strats were unmatched for playability, sound and tone and are selling selling for $3,000 +. This Strat was made in 1985 during the Dallas Era and very similar to my 3 Dream Machines. Pristine flame maple neck that plays and feels fast. The neck is a 7.5 D neck with original gold Kluson tuners. No dings or cuts. Original frets that have plenty of life. When Schecter moved from an Nuys to Dallas they stocked the operation with Ban Nuys parts. This Mercury has The same Schecter Van Nuys brass bridge, tremolo block, and saddles, brass strap buttons, jack cover, and knobs. neck purchased from a Boston dealer, was modified for a locking tuner was converted to traditional neck with Schecter brass nut.   Maple Neck is a beefy C neck. The MONSTERTONES were the next iteration of the F500T's and don't disappoint. With a master volume, master tone and blender pot, with a 5 position selector switch this three knob pickguard is set up to produce a sound that's dead similar to my 2 1979 Knopfler type Dream Machines with F500T's.
