Fender Stratocaster, ‘72/’57, Vintage White, 1984, FULL UPGRADE   --- FREE DELIVERY AUSTRALIA WIDE ---    1984-87, Made In Japan, “E” serial  Now for something a little special and unique….. This is an amalgamation of both a Fender Japan ST72 Stratocaster (Neck) and a Fender Japan ST57 Stratocaster (Body). The past owner obviously wanted the 70’s style large headstock against the body of a 50’s style Stratocaster. A VERY cool idea! Having the 4 bolt neck/body junction, and large headstock and logo, makes this closer a closer style to the ’68 model Sratocaster that Jimi Hendrix (most famously) used.  The neck is serial numbered to a 1984-1987 production. The body as expected (with Fender JPN) has no serial dating. However it came with the original Fender user Manual and original store card showing its model – ST57-500. On the basis of this style booklet/ card and model, the body would be dated to approx. 1986-1992. This fundamentally makes the Strat an 80’s model. It has now been taken one step further again with some BIG upgrades and custom modifications. The body has had the standard 3 chambered pickup cavities “pool” routed. This means that if you wanted to you can now quickly and easily turn this Strat into a HSH or SSH or HSS or HHH humbucker pickup configuration.  It has also had a white pearl finish pick guard added  It has also had the following upgrades to the electronics.  Only the best, high end parts have been used, with a quality installation. This is now a professional instrument, with a vintage pedigree. -CTS 250k volume  -CTS 250k “no load” tone pots - The no load tone pots are of a higher quality than standard CTS potentiometers. They only function as a tone control when used between 1-9. Once the pot is at 10 it acts as a true bypass. This essentially removes the tone pot and capacitor from the circuit. Giving you a cleaner audio circuit, and usually a very tiny amount of clean gain -Switchcraft input jack  -Oak Grigsby 5-way switch -22 gauge, waxed braided, vintage cloth wiring – The wiring has also been correctly replaced all the way back to the copper winding of the pickups -Sprague .047mfd orange drop tone capacitor Treble bleed circuit added-Sprague .001 mfd orange drop tone capacitor and a 120k Allen Bradley Carbon Comp resistor – This treble bleed circuit is added to the volume pot. There is now no “muddiness” when dialling back the volume, which makes for greater control. Perfect for manual volume swells. -All cavities and pickguard copper shielded -Full copper shielding installed makes this machine SILENT! Even at high amp volumes it is 99% buzz free as well as avoiding almost all 50/60 cycle hum. The wiring now has perfect grounding between each cavity to pickguard to component. It is now looks as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside Vintage white finish, maple one piece neck 7.25” board, vintage frets, standard 25.5” scale Original early FujiGen Alnico single coil pickups Pure joy to play, great action and comfortable neck Excellent tonal variation, all the expected sounds of any Stratocaster   ITEM CONDITION All machinery, electrical, and pickups are perfect. Some surface marks, small impressions/dings/dents/paint chips, tiny marking and some edge wear to neck - as pictured.   --- FREE DELIVERY AUSTRALIA WIDE ---    PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE BELOW CONDITIONS.
