1977 Musicman Stingray bass. The bass has obviously been refinished. The work was done by John Kallas of John K guitars. He did an incredible job and the finish is flawless. Everything else is original on the bass except the case. When it arrived, it had some high spots on the frets, but I had those leveled and now have it set with a really low action that only buzzes if you dig in. Great sounding and playing bass. This was not meant as a comment on the quality of the finish but that the silver color wasn't an option in 1977. Which, of course, I was also wrong about. Just when you think you start to know a thing or two about basses ....
