"The Bacon Orchestra" 17 Fret  Vintage Tenor  Banjo in Good Condition. Serial # 72**. Made in the Groton CT. Factory in 1922. Neck straight with low action and good intonation. Plays and sounds great. Original except for tuners and bridge.Has Original Jos. B. Rogers Jr skin head in good condition. Tuners have been replaced with Five Star Geared Tuners that are wonderful. Original friction tuners available if buyer interested. Bridge is handmade by Jim Farquhar with Taqua inserts. Tailpiece is the coveted "Winship" Tailpiece. Great for Irish Traditional Music as well as Jazz.Comes with  Gold Tone 5 Latch Case in pristine condition. Will ship to contiguous USA only. Sold as is / no returns.
