Silver Flake finish on the top with aged white binding, black pickguard, knobs and a black finished body, neck and headstock. The guitar has a nice action and the slightly chunky rounded profile mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fretboard and trapezoid inlays feels great. The frets are in excellent condition.The Gibson 498T humbuckers have a great tone with good output. The guitar is equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge, stop=bar tailpiece and vintage style Kluson Deluxe tuners. Gibson 498T™ humbuckers have the tonal characteristics of an original PAF but with a slight increase in upper mid-range response. The Gibson 498T™ uses Alnico V magnets for a slightly hotter output with an emphasis on mid-ranges and highs. And like the time-honored originals, Gibson 498T™ Humbuckers use only the highest quality parts including ABS plastic bobbins, 1010 Cold Rolled Steel pole shoes and pole screws, and the finest magnet wire available.
