A unique one-of-a-kind hand built, hand carved, solid spruce top, hand tuned Custom Shop Byrdland from 1991 in almost new condition. This was a one owner guitar purchased new direct from the Custom Shop that remained unplayed in the collection of a renown British guitar shop owner. A one off build made and painted by Tom Murphy that features a real ebony fingerboard with all deluxe Byrdland multiple bindings and inlays. Comes with the original receipt, original case, certificate of authenticity, original shipping label and original warranty papers. The guitar plays effortlessly and sounds superb, even acoustically. To order such a hand carved instrument from Gibson today would cost in excess of £10,000 and this has the added appeal of being a Tom Murphy instrument.
