Fernandes Monterey Elite JP LS-180 Electric Guitar Japan 1999 RARE w/OHSCFor sale is a stunning and exceedingly rare, 1999 Fernandes Monterey Elite (LS-180 in Japan)! This guitar represents top of the line Japanese craftsmanship and features a beautifully figured quilted maple top and back, solid mahogany body with set mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, Gotoh tuners, gold hardware throughout and Fernandes GMH-350 humbuckers in both positions. I suspect this is a very early, or first year, Monterey Elite, based on the uncommon control layout, only seen in the '98 and '99 catalogs. After 1999, the output jack was moved to the periphery of the body. This guitar is in fantastic condition with only light bucklerash and a few marks here and there. The gold hardware is lightly tarnished, but the frets show no wear and all electronics/hardware function perfectly! Ships in its original Fernandes hardshell case! There is a handling fee of $15.00 (US) or $25.00 (out of the country). This covers insurance, packaging, and all other handling fees. The buyer assumes all responsibility for customs/import fees. I usually take two weekdays to process and ship each order. If you suspect damage when you receive an item, open it immediately at the post office in front of a clerk and note the suspected damage to them.
