Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1964 Gibson ES-335 in its original brilliant Sunburst finish. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original and 100% complete including its original hardshell case. This has an original factory stop tailpiece with a custom made floating plastic panel underneath the tailpiece that we believe is original to the guitar. Upon removing the panel, it became obvious that this panel was made to cover two small hairline surface cracks that were most likely formed when the original anchors for the studs were installed in the guitar. Aside from this issue, there are no cracks, breaks, or repairs as everything remains structurally sound. The back of the neck has been oversprayed and appears darker in some area. We have carefully examined the neck and found that there are no repairs hidden underneath the overprayed areas. This is a very solid '64 ES-335 with only cosmetic issues including some minor nicks + dings, several extremely minor nicks + dings in the surface of the finish, and other minor cosmetic wear. Two of the tuning pegs are slightly bent, but function just fine. All electronics work and sound great with its original set of Patent # sticker pickups as all solder joints remain original and untouched.
