This is a genuine commemorative artifact,
presented to an employee, from (Hayes) in 1967. Desk-top pen + pencil holder / stand. It appears to represent a Bowling Bowl.
Exterior is of chrome. This is solid metal; heavy. To give you good understanding of the perspective,
the wood base stand is approximately 10" in length. Even though it represents 50 years of EMI, Is
unknown (by me) if the factory had their own
internal bowling club for this duration. Is more than likely a one-of (or 'one-off' ?!), and very unique.
* 50 years celebration of the release of the Sgt. Pepper
is looming, so do not look a Henry The Gift Horse in the mouth !
