2017 Gibson Les Paul Tribute with New Hardshell Case - Goldtop!

The mahogany back and sides are a satin nitro finish, but the beautiful top has a few more coats of nitrocellulose lacquer and a nice shimmer to it. She is in perfect condition and plays extremely well - Plek'd at the factory! She has a nice factory set up done and weighs in at exactly 8 lbs 3 oz so she's easy on the back. The vintage tones with the 490 pickups are outstanding clean, but sound remarkably articulate with the gain cranked up. These are truly PAF-sounding humbuckers as Gibson did a great job with this guitar.This baby is virtually brand new and comes with a beautiful brand new Gator case - very robust.You may notice that the 2017's don't have the selector switch washer. The original pictures that do not have the washer are from Sweetwater. It is the same exact guitar in the photo's WITH the washer, which I obviously took myself. That is the only modification that I did as I think it looks much more "traditional" with the washer - don't you? Anyway, this is indeed a brand new 2017 model. The only other thing I did was lower the bridge humbucker a tad.
