This is an Electra x340 MPC electric guitar in overall excellent condition. This guitar comes with two on-board effect modules, Power Overdrive and Dynamic Fuzz. It has the rare modified open-book headstock shape. The body is solid mahogany with a laminated top. The neck appears to be maple with a rosewood fretboard. The nut has been replaced with a bone nut; all other parts are original.All electronics work properly. Each Magnaflux humbucker pickup measures ~8.5k. The pots and switches have been cleaned and work smoothly and quietly. The effect circuit requires a 9v battery (not included). The ring under the pickup selector switch was cracked and glued back together. The repair is visible but solid.Frets have been leveled recently and are in very good shape. Action has been set to medium.The finish has a few small defects: chips on the back around the cavity covers, a couple small dings on the top edge of the headstock, and very light scratches on the body (nearly invisible unless you look for them). The top is laminated and shows some very fine hairline cracks. These are only on the surface, so they won't cause any structural problems.The hardware has lost some of the gold plating and there are signs of oxidation on the surface. All adjustment screws work - nothing is seized.Comes with hardshell case.Also included is an original hang tag and brochure.
