This guitar has been heavily upgraded with Bareknuckle Warpig pickups. It also has recently had a full set-up. The custom designed humbucker in the bridge position and the soapbar in the neck compliment each other perfectly. The guitar has also been upgraded with new pots and has been shielded. All upgrades were done professionally and to the highest standards of quality. I love this guitar but unfortunately being a single father I have to downsize my collection to help give my girls things they deserve. The guitar is in great condition other then a little pick wear on the guard, but can be easily buffed out or easily replaced. Below are the descriptions of both pickups and the guitar in stock form. PICKUP FEATURES BRUTALITY WITH CLARITY: THE WARPIG IS AN EXTREMELY HIGH OUTPUT HUMBUCKER WITH A RAW, GUTTURAL TONE AND SMOOTH HIGH-END AVAILABLE IN TWO FORMATS TO FINE-TUNE THE RESPONSE. The Warpig humbucker was originally conceived as an all-out extreme metal humbucker capable of seriously dark and saturated tones. However it soon found uses as diverse as jazz and fusion establishing itself as a major player in the Bare Knuckle range. The twin screw coil design produces an even and controlled treble response, working well with intense levels of gain. Bass and mid-range response is monstrous and the different magnet options allow for the tone to be further refined to taste. The default Alnico V magnet creates the smoothest high-end with a totally organic mid range grind and deep bottom-end. For players looking for even more output, the ceramic magnet option delivers faster bass reaction, smoother mids and a sharper cut in the highs. THE WARPIG 90 IS THE HOTTEST AND FATTEST OF ALL OUR SOAPBARS, HARNESSING ALL THE POWER OF A HIGH OUTPUT HUMBUCKER WITH THE FREQUENCY RESPONSE OF A TRUE SINGLE COIL. The Warpig 90, or 'Pig 90 as it's known, was created in response to customer requests for a P90 version of the Warpig humbucker and has been made to order since 2003. Demand has been such that it simply had to join the ranks formally in the official Bare Knuckle range. The colossal output of the 'Pig 90 is derived from a pair of custom size Alnico V bar magnets and scatter-wound coils of 45 AWG wire. The tone is truly deserving of the term 'fat', with deep, rich bottom-end, throaty mids and sweet highs. Single notes have incredible weight behind them and chords have serious intensity. High gain applications are easily handled with individual notes always sounding full and defined no matter how saturated the tone. Although the main role of the 'Pig 90 is for handling overdrive, it never loses sight of its true P90 character. Producing really solid contemporary clean tones as well as powerful driven tones, it's equally at home with slide guitar as it is extreme metal.
