Up for sale is my 2016 Fender Elite Stratocaster S/S/S. I purchased this guitar new in April of 2016, opening the box and was the first one to handle it other than those making it. This guitar still sells new at Guitar Center and other music stores for $1899 - $2000. It has had a professional setup and I just put a set of Dean Markley Helix custom light #2512, 9 - 46 strings. I like the heavier bottom strings (10's) and the lighter smaller strings (9's) making bending a lot easier. It has only been played in my smoke-free home and in our Praise band at church. The reason I am selling it is because I bought a thin-line Telecaster Elite and it has become my go-to guitar and I don't play the Strat very much. I finally decided to take it out of the closet and let someone else enjoy it. On a scale of 1 - 10, I would rate the guitar as a 9.9999. That's because while I was inspecting the guitar, turning it in all directions, I noticed two very, very small indentions on the front of the body, straight across from the top of the bridge. I had not noticed them until I just inspected it to make sure to reveal any issues. If I wasn't looking at it so close, I may not have known they were there. I tried to take a picture of them but the glossy finish they did not show in a close up. The strap locks are in the unopened bag with the other goodies!I also had a Rockinger Black Box installed inside the back of the guitar to help stabilize the tremolo. It helps the trem block return to its neutral position after using the tremolo. It's not perfect, but in 50 plus years of playing Fender guitars, it's the best thing I have found!Free shipping to Continental United States.
