1922 Hermann Hauser Classical guitar built in the Vienna tradition. Spruce top, beautiful maple sides and back. Bolt-on fully adjustable neck. This guitar, while playable and beautifully sounding, is in need of restoration. There is one (very old) small repair on the lower side of the guitar the binding is beginning to cone up in 1-2 places. It is not deteriorating but the glue has lost its adhesion. One of the pearl fret markers is also missing. The internal bracing looks to be in tact and there are no cracks on the top, back or sides. The top has pulled away from the side on the lower/bridge end. The guitar has its original finish.This is a beautiful guitar from a historic builder whose value will increase significantly with a proper restoration.
